Client: Facebook, Inc.
Project: 2019 Holiday Gifting
CHALLENGE
• Design a holiday gift, donation card, and greeting card relevant to a global audience.
• Gift should focus on creativity, innovation, and humility.
• Guarantee a cost-effective international distribution plan.
• Ensure a streamlined fulfillment and management systems.
• Develop management systems of the recipient lists to ensure they are FedEx-ready.
• Provide on-call support for the GMS team.
• Create a pattern that represented Facebook in a subtle, but recognizable way and was designed without being specific to one holiday, i.e. avoid leaning too Christmas.
SOLUTION
• Created a style quiz to understand the clients creative direction, look & feel likes, and overall design inspiration.
• Designed a variety of packaging experiences, holiday-inspired patterns, and custom typography lockups to create the ultimate gifting experience, while appropriately representing Facebook and holiday season.
• Heavily researching cultural variances across recipient countries to ensure gift would be positively received.
• Managed the Facebook Holiday Inbox.
• Organized and scrubbed all necessary data and shipping information orders.
• Packed, labeled, and palletized all boxes in house.
• Learned and implemented FB Internal Trade Ops procedures to execute international freight shipments.
• Coordinated with Expeditors and FedEx to ensure all shipments met their requirements.
• Scheduled and tracked all packaging shipments.
MY ROLE
Designed a custom brand identity including patterns, text lockups, brand logo integration, and color selection based on the idea of feeling holiday without leaning into on specific holiday.
Created a custom packaging experience for consumers to unfold each element one at a time and discover the gifting in the proper order: donation card, thank you card, and gift.
Worked closely with on of Facebook’s lead designers to bring the design to life and make sure the design met Facebook standards as well as worked closely with the printing company to ensure the production of the box was correct.
Managed the client relationship and oversaw the production and completion of the project when the producer left, ultimately becoming the lead producer for the project.
Worked closely with our operations team to manage the kit packing process and ensured all packages left in time to make it to each country and address before the holidays.







Client: Facebook
Project: Boost Leaders Network
CHALLENGE
Create a welcome experience to be shipped to new members of the Boost Leaders Network that contains relevant branded giveaways and makes the consumer feel special.
Kits need to be designed to match the rest of the Boost Leaders Network branded elements.
SOLUTION
Created a welcome kit including custom branded gifts to generate brand awareness, coffee from a member Facebook’s CAP council to acknowledge existing members, and a letter welcoming them to the Boost Leader’s Network and explaining the benefits.
The gifts were custom designed, hand packed for extra care, securely warehoused, and shipped to members as needed by the client.

MY ROLE
Interpreted and edited the client brand guidelines to fit the project needs including custom creating the welcome logo and print files.
Designed all mockups of product logos for client sign off before going in to production.
Created all print files for the project including the box design, welcome letter, stickers, and logos for gifting items.
Worked closely with the printing company to ensure the box was printed properly and all colors matched the necessary Pantones.
Helped concept the gifting items with the client.
Oversaw the kit packing process with the operations team.
Managed the client relationship and oversaw the completion of the project when the producer left, ultimately becoming the producer for the project.





Client: Budweiser x Big Sean
Project: Limited Edition Big Sean Can Release
CHALLENGE
Create a custom box to highlight the new Budweiser collaboration with Big Sean for the Detroit Limited Edition 25oz can release.
Box coincides with Big Sean’s Detroit 2 album release.
SOLUTION
Created a premium, custom box inspired by Big Sean’s new album logo and design.
Designed a full black design with roses to replicate the Detroit 2 album logo.
Contains a customized Budweiser logo.
Acetate cover over the can and roses for a premium showcase of the limited edition can.
MY ROLE
Concepted the box design options for Budweiser to choose from - after multiple iterations, we ended up on this final design.
Custom created the logo based on the Detroit 2 album and Budweiser bowtie.
Worked with production and the printer to bring the design to life for the consumer.


Client: Planit Omaha x TD Ameritrade
Project: Welcome Kits for Digital Event
CHALLENGE
Create a welcome kit for TD Ameritrade’s virtual workshop experience.
Kit needs to enhance the virtual experience to make consumers feel connected to one another and contain elements to fit the idea of growing with TD.
MY ROLE
Concepted the possible experiences for the consumer for the client to choose from and created all presentations.
Managed and designed the box experience including the packaging, recipe, welcome letter, gift tags, and gifting labels within the box so they match the TD Ameritrade brand guidelines.
SOLUTION
Created a kit surround around making a Smoked Paloma at home by providing all the ingredients minus the alcohol — the cocktail was paired with a virtual experience.
The kit contained a succulent, notebook, pen, cocktail shaker set, Paloma ingredients and tequila gummies.





Client: Aflac President’s Club
Project: Charcuterie Kit
CHALLENGE
Create a surprise and delight moment for Aflac employees to reward them for excelling and achieving their goals.
SOLUTION
Rewarded them with a branded charcuterie board and all the elements to create the perfect charcuterie spread.
Kit came with premium wooden cutting board, cheese knives, cheeses, pickles, crackers, jelly, cured meats, and a how-to card of tips & tricks.
MY ROLE
Designed the kits including creating the packaging files, laying out the consumer experience and how all the products are laid out within the box.
Managed the design of the thank you card and tips & tricks insert that was provided within the kits.
